The Apex Bank’s Staff Co-operative Credit Society Ltd., C/o The Goa State Co-op. Bank ltd., “Sahakar Sankul”, EDC Complex, Patto Plaza, Panaji-Goa was registered on 24th February 1968 under the Registration Code No. RES-(a) 200/Goa and it has been classified as “Credit Resources Society”.

The membership of the society is open to any person who is a confirm staff/employee working in Goa State Co-operative Bank Ltd. The total membership strength of the society as on 31st March 2022 is 394 members.

Objectives of the Society:

• To provide for social & economical betterments of its members through self help & mutual aid in accordance with the Co-operative principles
• To promote economic & social development of its members either by itself or in co-operation with other organizations
• To provide practical training or self help & co-operation to the members
• To encourage the habit of saving among its members by mobilizing regular monthly Thrift / Cumulative deposit, Savings, Recurring, Fixed, MRBS & other types of deposits, including towards members Benefit death Assurance Fund
• To offer retirement benefit & death relief services to its members.
• To provide financial assistance in the form of loan to needy members for all reasonable purpose on reasonable terms & conditions
• To act as an agent for joint purchase of the domestic & other requirement of its members on credit basis
• To undertake any other activities which are conductive and necessary to attain its objects

The Society has achieved Good governance, greater heights and a committed management with the Board of Directors.
